Why diets and short term weight loss plans don't work

I hope you are having a great week so far. It's already almost the weekend! And, it is now officially spring! That means that soon it will be time for the beach and summer clothes! I have officially started a 4 week boot camp since I decided I needed to step up my workout in order to get ready for summer. I'm also doing a cleanse for 3 weeks just because I like to do one every season and it felt like a good time while starting the boot camp. It's been a little rough, but I'm starting to feel good now. What about you...are you ready for summer? If you're looking for an easy way to include nutritious, real foods in your diet that will give you energy and improve digestion for easier weight loss, my 7 Day Smoothie Challenge starts Sunday, and it's free! Even if you don't want to participate in the challenge on Facebook, you will still receive 17 delicious smoothie recipes if you sign up. If you haven't had a chance to sign up yet, you can do so now by clicking here. Many people, when they think of losing weight, will "go on a diet" or do a short term weight loss program and think that it will get them to where they want to be. It may initially, but eventually, if they go back to eating the way they were before, they are likely to gain all of the weight back...or sometimes even more. Even going on a cleanse, which I highly promote cleanses to at least clean out the toxins in your body, will only initially cause weight loss. As long as you go back to your old ways and don't make a lifestyle change, the results, unfortunately, won't last. In order to make that lifestyle change, my top 5 recommendations would be:

  1. Do a cleanse to clean the toxins out of your body.

  2. Discover which foods don't work for your body that may be causing inflammation and preventing you from reaching your weight loss goals or having optimal energy.

  3. Eat a diet that contains mostly clean, natural foods and avoid processed foods that will keep you from feeling your best.

  4. Start some sort of exercise regimen.

  5. Learn how to better manage stress.

This is why I created my 8 Week Get Your Body Back Challenge, and I am excited to announce that the cart is officially open for the Spring Get Your Body Back Challenge. It is a 3 phase program that will give you the tools to make it a lifestyle change, and it includes all 5 of the above recommendations. It incorporates all 3 of my programs into one program! Phase 1: 14 Day Seasonal Detox Phase 2: Weight Loss Jumpstart Phase 3: 4 week clean eating program It is a group program with a private Facebook group and weekly group calls.

Who is this program for?

This program is for you if you are sick of:

  • buying diet book after diet book, only to give up on the diet every time.

  • saying that you will start over "on Monday"or "after _____ (event)" or "once the junk food is gone".

  • trying every new "weight loss solution" on the market, and either not getting any results, or gaining all of the weight back after you stop taking it.

  • being confused and overwhelmed about what you should and shouldn't be eating with all of the information that is out there?

  • being too "busy" to prepare your meals

  • Not having any accountability or a structured plan for what you should be eating and when.

  • those quick fixes with '0' results

My program is different because I focus on loving your food and having fun losing weight at the same time. I will not tell you to deprive yourself EVER! In fact, I will tell you the opposite! If you would like to learn more about what is included, what you will learn, the results you should expect, or just about the program itself, you can click here for more information. The program starts on April 9, 2017! P.S. I am offering a $50 discount for anyone who signs up for the 8 Week Get Your Body Back Challenge by April 3, 2017 with discount code GYBBEB.
