I'm excited because it's finally starting to feel a lot like spring. The weather is getting warmer, and we set the clocks ahead this weekend! It's always hard to adjust to the time change, but I'm looking forward to longer days.
Last week I talked about summer bodies being made in the winter. Since spring is on the way, this is the time to start. One of the best ways to lose weight and get ready for the summer is by eating real foods. I've found that starting each day with a smoothie is one of the easiest ways to do that. Today, I wanted to share a delicious smoothie recipe with you.
Chocolate Banana Bliss Smoothie 1 cup almond or coconut milk 1 ripe banana 1/2 cup kale 2 tablespoons cashew butter or almond butter 1 tablespoon raw honey or stevia 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder or raw cacao Ice (optional)
This smoothie is so good, you won't even realize that you are eating tons of healthy foods. You will think it's dessert!
