6 Weeks to Decrease the Bloat

I understand what it's like to feel bloated or have an upset stomach all of the time.  You might suffer from symptoms such as feeling full with or without eating, excess gas, pain in your lower abdomen, or your stomach could be expanding, sometimes making you look like you are pregnant.  Or maybe you are having other symptoms like nausea, diarrhea, constipation, or acid reflux.  It is so frustrating.  It makes you not want to eat certain things, even though they taste SO GOOD!!!  It can almost be scary to eat.  And, it makes you not want to go out to eat with your friends or out to eat on a date because of the fear of how you'll feel afterward.

All of these symptoms can indicate a possible digestive problem, which is pretty common in the world we live in today.   It is also not normal to have any chronic digestive problems, whether it's bloating, gas, diarrhea, constipation, acid reflux, nausea, or stomach pain.  It's likely that you're either eating something that isn't right for YOUR body and is making your feel that way, or you are not eating the right things or taking the time to eat properly. Having a digestive problem doesn't mean that you have to feel that way for the rest of your life because you can resolve it or at least find out what is triggering it.  You can go to the doctor and they can do a bunch of tests (which might not be a bad idea if you are having severe problems to make sure it's nothing serious), but if you end up with a diagnosis of IBS, they are most likely going to tell you that you either have to live with it or will give you a pill to help with the symptoms…a pill that will probably cause side effects (I had one that made me feel stoned and unable to focus on anything).

So what is the solution?

You can do an elimination diet and figure out which foods may be triggering your symptoms, which is difficult for some people and some people aren't ready to commit to that.  I totally get that.  So, before going to an elimination diet right away, there are some other things that you can implement to see if it has an effect on your digestion and the way your feel.  If you implement those changes and are content with the results, then you may feel that there is no need to take any additional steps or restrict your diet in any way.

I have put together a 6 week program designed to decrease bloating, gas, and other IBS symptoms.  Each week, you will implement a new step.  Each step will build on the other steps and minimize overwhelm.  I know it's not realistic to implement too many things all at once, and my goal is to help you and not have you give up after the first week.  These steps are simple and are the foundation of healthy digestion.  I promise I will not ask you to eliminate whole food groups.  It's more about adding things in.

So, if you are ready to:

  • stop canceling plans because you are worried about the way you feel

  • stop being in pain or feeling like you are 6 months pregnant

  • stop worrying about if your stomach is going to hurt you that day

  • learn what you can eat to finally feel good again

  • stop being embarrassed or scared to eat

  • stop missing out on your life because of your digestive problems

I encourage you to sign up for my 6 week program so you can make these changes and finally feel good again!

This program will be available for purchase in late February/early March for $67 (and there might be some specials available :) ).
